For ransoms | Unidentified gunmen kidnap tribe dignitary on Al-Hasakah highway

Unidentified gunmen have kidnapped the dignitary of Al-Mo’amra tribe, after they stopped his car near Al-Kharita village on the highway between Al-Hasakah and Tel Tamr north eastern of Syria.

Moreover, the kidnappers demanded 100,000 USDs to release the tribe dignitary.

On May 6, reliable SOHR sources reported that a dignitary of Shimr tribe was set free, a week after being kidnapped by unknown individuals from Mushayrefah neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah city. According to Observatory sources the kidnappers received a large ransom in return for the release of the tribal dignitary.

On April 28, SOHR activists reported that unidentified gunmen kidnapped a dignitary of Shimr tribe in Al-Hasakah from Mushayrefah neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah. Moreover, the kidnappers demanded 80,000 USDs ransom to release him.

SOHR sources had reported that four gunmen in security uniforms stormed the house of a civilian in the SDF-controlled village of Nabu’a in Al-Qamishli countryside in Al-Hasakah province, where they looted a sum of money of an estimated 21 million SYP, a mobile 0070hone and wi-fi devices, before they escaped from the village.
