New assassination | Unidentified gunmen shoot regime soldier dead in Daraa

Daraa province: SOHR activists have reported that unidentified gunmen have shot a regime soldier dead in Jassim city in eastern Daraa countryside. The soldier is from Al-Qonaitara countryside and lives in Al-Mosaifara town.

This comes in light of the ongoing security chaos in Daraa province.

Since early 2022, the number of attacks in Daraa province has risen to 204, which left 158 people dead; and they are as follows:
• 78 civilians, including two women and four children.
• 62 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.
• Ten former fighters who did not joined any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.
• An ex-ISIS member.
• Six unidentified people.
• A Russian-backed militiaman.
