Instable security in HTS-held areas | Displaced man shot dead in northern Idlib

Idlib province: SOHR sources have reported that an unknown gunman assassinated a displaced civilian from Teljin village in the northern countryside of Aleppo, where he the gunman opened fire on the civilian at the roundabout in the industrial town of Al-Dana, before he escaped towards the HTS-controlled town of Deir Hassan in the northern countryside of Idlib.

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of a displaced civilian from Hama countryside in armed clashes with thieves who tried to steal his sheep near Harim city in northern Idlib, which is controlled by HTS and opposition factions.

On the other hand, two civilians were injured by shrapnel of a bomb detonated by an unidentified person in the centre of a crowded area. He detonated the bomb when he was caught trying to rob civilians in Idlib city centre.

Accordingly, SOHR activists have documented 20 incidents of security disorder in areas held by HTS and factions in Idlib and surrounding countryside, which left 21 people dead, and they are as follows:

• 14 civilians, including a woman and three children.

• Two combatants, including an HTS fighter.

• Five unidentified people.
