Some accused of “communication with Kurdish forces” | Military police and “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah” arrest three civilians in Afrin

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that members of a patrol of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah” arrested a 70-year-old man from Maabatli district in Afrin countryside for unknown reasons.

On the other hand, the military police arrested, on May 11, a civilian and his son who have been displaced from Al-Mayser neighbourhood in Aleppo city for “communicating with SDF,” where the two civilians were taken to a prison in Afrin.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that “military police” in Afrin released, on May 11, a civilian after paying a ransom of 1,000 USD. The civilian had been arrested for “performing a military service in the ranks of the Self-Defence Forces during Autonomous Administration’s control of Afrin.”

Meanwhile, a joint patrol of military police and Turkish intelligence service arrested two siblings from Maabatli district in Afrin countryside on May 10 for “performing a military service in the ranks of the Self-Defence Forces during Autonomous Administration’s control of the area.”
