Military escalation | Turkish and Kurdish forces exchange fire on positions in Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that six missiles fired from areas of Kurdish and regime forces have hit the outskirts of Afrin city in the northern Aleppo countryside, hitting the foot of Laylon mountain in the outskirts of Qarzihal village in Afrin countryside. However, the extent of damage wasn’t reported.

On the other hand, Turkish forces stationed in Salsana base fired missiles and artillery shells on the outskirts of Deir Jamal and Kafr Naya towns in northern Aleppo countryside, causing only material damage.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported rocket fires rained down on areas in the vicinity of Turkish-backed factions in the northern countryside of Aleppo from areas where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed on Wednesday morning. No casualties were reported so far.
Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that a Turkish drone targeted an empty building near Tel Rifaat stadium, which is under the influence of Kurdish and regime forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo. However, no casualties were reported.
It is worth noting that Tel Rifaat hosts a Russian military base.
