Old ordnance | Explosion of object injures civilian in Idlib countryside

Idlib province: SOHR activists have documented the injury of a 17 year-old young man severely, due to the explosion of an object of war remnants of former shelling by regime and Russian forces on the agricultural lands of Qorin town southern of Idlib.

Accordingly, SOHR has documented the death of 99 civilians, including four women and 41 children, due to explosions of old landmines, unexploded shells and bombs across Syria since early 2022. In addition, 116 civilians, including eight women and 68 children, sustained various injuries in the same period. Among the total death toll there are a man and his son killed in the collapse of a war-damaged building in Darya city in Rif Dimashq.
