Deir Ezzor security chaos | ISIS cells attack SDF military checkpoint

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that unidentified gunmen have fired RPG shells and machineguns on an SDF military checkpoint in the water station of Al-Zerr town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, where SOHR sources confirmed that the gunmen are ISIS members, as clashes erupted between both sides with machineguns. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

On May 14, as part of security campaigns in the countryside of Deir Ezzor of combing and searching for weapons and wanted persons by Syrian Democratic Forces, SOHR activists reported that SDF patrols raided the villages of Tawamiya, Harizah and Barshim in Deir Ezzor countryside in search of wanted persons, where suspects and SDF members have exchanged fire, killing two SDF members and wounding others.
