New suicide | Civilian shoots himself in SDF areas in Al-Hasakah

SOHR activists have reported that a civilian has committed suicide by shooting himself in Al-Hasakah countryside.

According to local sources, the civilian worked as a teacher and suffers a mental illness, and suicided in Al-Akr village in Tel Birak district in Al-Hasakah countryside.

On May 16, an unidentified girl in her 20s committed suicide in Al-Raqqa city, however the reasons remained unknown.
According to reliable SOHR sources, the girl threw herself from the top of an old bridge at Euphrates river.
The body was retrieved from the river by a team of divers after reports from the residents.
On April 27, SOHR activists reported that a girl from Ain Al-Arab “Kobani” countryside in Autonomous Administration-held areas, committed suicide.
According to reliable SOHR sources, the 19 year-old girl killed herself in Ailam village in the western Ain Al-Arab “Kobani” countryside, without knowing the reasons.
