Amid boosting Air-Force Intelligence headquarters in Daraa city | Regime forces arrest young man in western countryside

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that regime soldiers stationed at a checkpoint at the entrance of Ankhil city in the western countryside of Daraa have arrested a young man from the city for unknown reasons. Meanwhile, regime forces have erected a soil barrier and installed medium machineguns near the headquarters of the Air-Force Intelligence service in Daraa city.

 

On May 7, SOHR activists reported that regime security services arrested an elder from Al-Mayadin city in Deir Ezzor countryside after he reached Damascus to receive medication. The security forces stormed the house of the man’s daughter in Al-Dahadil neighbourhood in Damascus, arresting him and taking him to an unknown destination.

 

According to reliable SOHR sources, the elder had struck a reconciliation deal following the regime’s control over the region in 2018, while his grandsons work for Iranian-backed militias in Al-Mayadeen area in eastern Deir Ezzor.
