Joint patrol | Russian and Turkish forces roam in Al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that Russian and Turkish forces have conducted a joint patrol in Al-Hasakah countryside, where the patrol set off with four military vehicles of both sides in the western Al-Dirbasiyah countryside, amid flight of two Russian helicopters over the region.

The patrol roamed several areas starting from Shirik village and passing through Badlik, Malik, Abbas, Qairon, Qorkonda, Baraka, Atishan, Qonaitara and Al-Ouda villages.

On April 7, SOHR activists reported that Russian and Turkish forces have conducted a joint patrol in the western countryside of Al-Darbasiyah, north of Al-Hasakah. The patrol comprised four vehicles of Turkish and Russian forces. The patrol toured villages in the western countryside of the city, Sherik, Delik, Malak, Al-Abbas, Al-Alyah and Al-Kasra, before returning from the same road amid flights by two Russian helicopters over the area.
It is worth noting that this was the first joint patrol in April.
On March 10, Syrian Observatory activists reported seeing Russian and Turkish forces conducting a new joint patrol in Syrian territory on Thursday morning, where four military vehicles set off from Sherik village, west of Derbasiah then headed to the south-western countryside of the city, touring the villages of Dalil, Quneitrah, Salam Alik, Qarmaniyah, Tel Kadish, Ghanamiyeh and Karbatli.
The joint patrol also headed to the eastern countryside of Darbasiyah, touring the villages of Tel Tiri, Jadida, Tel Karma, Khasaki, Mudawara, Khanki and Gahouri in western Amuda countryside then returned to the same road.
