For ransoms | Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah kidnap civilian in A’zaz city

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah faction, that controls A’zaz city in the northern Aleppo countryside, kidnapped a civilian of A’zaz city on May 17, and demanded his parents to pay ransoms to release him.

It is worth noting that the civilian was taken to a prison of Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah faction located near Sajo camp.

SOHR activists documented three similar kidnap cases in “Euphrates Shield” area, which are:

– First incident: A member close to Al-Hamza Division abducted a child, brutally tortured him, filmed a video and sent it to the child’s relatives, threatening to kill the child if his family filed a complaint against him.
– Second incidnet: Gunmen abducted a young man in the area between Jarabulus and Al-Bab city, while he was returning from his workplace at a jewellery store in Jarabulus city.
– Third incident: A young Kurdish woman from Raju district was abducted by gunmen while she was on her way to Azaz to enter Turkish territory via routes used for smuggling.
