13th time in 2022 | Israel shells positions of Iranian militias in Damascus

SOHR activists have reported hearing violent explosions in the capital Damascus and its countryside due to Israeli shelling on positions of Iranian militias in Jamraya area in Rif Dimashq and other areas in the south western Rif Dimashq and the vicinity of the Damascus International Airport.

According to other SOHR sources, most of the missiles hit the targeted positions, amid decline in the regime’s air-defence that block Israeli missiles.

It is worth noting that this is the 13th Israeli shelling on Syrian territory in 2022.

On May 13, SOHR activists documented the death of four soldiers of the regime’s “Air Defence” including a lieutenant, in the Israeli shelling that targeted a position of Iranian militias on Wadi Al-Oyon highway western of Misyaf and another in Al-Suwayda area south eastern of Misyaf in Hama countryside amid information of other casualties. Moreover, seven soldiers and six civilians were injured including a little girl.
