Following shelling on Damascus | Regime air-defence forces block Israeli missiles in Syrian coast

Violent explosions were heard in the Syrian coast and Misyaf area in Hama countryside and the middle region of Syria, due to regime air-defence forces blocking Israeli missiles over the Mediterranean sea, meanwhile military positions of Iranian militias in the vicinity of Al-Manae’ mountain near Al-Kaswa city in the south western Rif Dimashq were shelled, in addition to Jamraya area northern of the capital Damascus and the Damascus International Airport.

According to reliable SOHR sources, fire broke out in positions of Iranian militias in the vicinity of the Damascus International Airport, where ambulances were spotted rushing to the targeted area, amid confirmed information of casualties.

A few hours ago, SOHR activists reported hearing violent explosions in the capital Damascus and its countryside due to Israeli shelling on positions of Iranian militias in Jamraya area in Rif Dimashq and other areas in the south western Rif Dimashq and the vicinity of the Damascus International Airport.

According to other SOHR sources, most of the missiles hit the targeted positions, amid decline in the regime’s air-defence that block Israeli missiles.

It is worth noting that this is the 13th Israeli shelling on Syrian territory in 2022.
