Turkish offensive | Over 20 rocket and artillery shells hit Kurdish and regime positions in Afrin countryside

SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces stationed at the Scientific Research base on the outskirts of Azaz city have fired 20 rocket and artillery shells on the outskirts of Soghunakah and the forests of Soghunakah village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside, where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed. No further details have been reported about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the shelling.

 

On May 18, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxies renewed extensive artillery shelling on Al-Sha’ala, Radar Al-Sha’ala, Tel Zuwyan and Tel Al-Enab villages in northern Aleppo countryside, coinciding with extensive artillery shelling and clashes with heavy and medium weapons between Kurdish forces and “National Army” on the frontlines of Al-Daghlabash village in Al-Bab countryside, east of Aleppo.
