SOHR: 3 Syrian officers killed, 4 others wounded due to Israeli shelling on Iranian sites

Three officers were killed and four others from the "air defenses" crews of the Damascus government were injured, as a result of the Israeli bombardment that targeted military sites and warehouses of Iranian groups in the vicinity of the capital, Damascus.

 

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of three officers and the injury of four others from the crews of the “air defenses” of the Damascus government, as a result of the Israeli bombing that targeted military sites and warehouses of Iranian groups in the vicinity of the capital, Damascus.

Violent explosions were heard on the Syrian coast and the Masyaf area in Hama countryside and the central region of Syria, yesterday evening, as a result of the Damascus government’s air defenses confronting the Israeli missiles launched from over the Mediterranean Sea, in conjunction with targeting military sites for Iranian groups in the vicinity of Jabal Al-Manea near the city of Kiswa in the countryside Damascus southwest and in the Jamraya area north of the capital, Damascus, and the vicinity of Damascus International Airport, in addition to the fall of the remnants of an Israeli missile on a farm in the Sayeda Zainab area, south of the capital, which is under the control of Iranian groups.

According to the SOHR, the fire broke out within the sites belonging to the groups in the vicinity of Damascus International Airport, where ambulances were seen rushing to the targeted places.

It is noteworthy that this Israeli targeting is the 13th on Syrian territory since the beginning of the new year 2022.
