Preparing for combing operation | Regime forces and 25th Division bring reinforcements in Hama

SOHR activists have monitored entry of military reinforcements for the regime forces and the Russian-backed 25th Division to the Syrian desert.

The reinforcements comprise of tanks, BMP vehicles, heavy artillery weapons, ammunition and rocket launchers, in addition to hundreds of soldiers. The military reinforcements deployed in the eastern Hama countryside to start military exercises for a wide-range combing operation for ISIS cells.

On the other hand, Russian warplanes executed eight airstrikes on different areas in the Syrian desert.
Accordingly, the number of airstrikes executed by Russian fighter jets on ISIS hideouts in the Syrian desert since early May has risen to 305.

Yesterday, Iran-backed militias and regime forces launched a wide-range combing campaign for ISIS cells from the frontline of Plamyra city and the frontline of Al-Sokhna city in Homs countryside all the way to Athriyah desert eastern of Hama, where Russian warplanes executed over 15 airstrikes targeting positions sheltering ISIS cells in Athriyah and Akirbat desert eastern of Hama.
