Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), backed by International Coalition forces, have raided Abriha town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, arresting a displaced man from Al-Bolayl town which is controlled by Iranian -backed militias for unknown charges whether for “Dealing with ISIS cells or Iranians,” in the early hours of Sunday morning, SOHR activists reported.
On May 17, Reliable SOHR sources reported that the SDF-backed Counter-Terrorism Special Units (H.A.T.) arrested on Sunday a woman in her forties and three other men from the makeshift camp of Sahlat Al-Banat during a security campaign with International Coalition support. It is worth noting that the camp is adjacent to Tel Al-Bay’a cemetery, nearly three kilometres to the east of Al-Raqqah
According to SOHR sources, the security forces, backed by the International Coalition, arrested the four people, after they had obtained information about suspicious activity by ISIS supports aiming to create security chaos in the camp which hosts nearly 4,000 families from areas in Deir Ezzor and Al-Raqqah countryside and Iraq.
