SOHR: Hezbollah prepares for Captagon laboratories in As-Suwayda and Daraa

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that groups linked to the Lebanese militia Hezbollah continue to transfer drugs from Lebanon into Syria.
And the observatory mentioned in a report that these groups are coordinating with groups from inside Syria, especially the “Fourth Division”.

The report believes that the smuggling operations aim to deliver them to Jordan and a number of Arab Gulf countries.

The observatory learned that militias linked to Hezbollah have recently escalated transfers of narcotics and raw materials for the manufacture of Captagon pills from Lebanon to areas in Al-Qalamoun in the countryside of Damascus and Al-Qusayr in the countryside of Homs, and then transferred to southern Syria, amid information about the intention to establish new laboratories for the manufacture of Captagon narcotic pills In As-Suwayda and Daraa.

This information comes a few hours after the security forces in Jordan announced the killing of 4 smugglers, the wounding of a number of them, and the escape of others into Syria, according to the Jordan News Agency, in an operation carried out by the border guards and in coordination with the security services and the Drug Control Department.

The agency added that 637,000 Captagon pills, 181 hashish palms, 396,000 tramadol pills and a Kalashnikov weapon were found, and the seizures were transferred to the competent authorities.
