99th joint patrol | Russian and Turkish forces tour Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) countryside

Syrian Observatory activists have reported seeing a new patrol run by Russia and Turkish military forces in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) countryside.

The joint patrol, comprising eight Russian and Turkish military vehicles, has set off from Ashma, west of Kobani.

The patrol has toured the villages of Qurah Mugh, Jayshan, Kharabisyan Tahtani/Itwiran Tahtani, Baghdik ” to Khanh/ Bendrakhan, in the western countryside of Tel Abyad.

The patrol then returned to its starting point in Gharib village, passing through the villages of Baghdik, Kharabisan Tahtani/Itwiran Tahtani, Hawlakiyah, Telk, Ain Al-Bat.

Turkish military vehicles have entered from the gate near Gharib village, while Russian vehicles returned to radio district, west of Kobani.

It is worth noting that this patrol is the 99th between the two sides in the region since the Russian-Turkish agreement on a ceasefire in north-eastern Syria.
