Assaults and kidnaps for ransoms | “National Army” factions continue their violations in Afrin

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that unidentified gunmen kidnapped a civilian from Rajo district in Afrin countryside on May 22, while he was heading from Rajo district towards Afrin city. His fate remains unknown.

On the other hand, the Civil Police in Afrin city released three civilians from Qawnda village in Rajo district on May 17, for 2,000 Turkish Liras for each, where they were arrested by the Civil Police for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration.”

Regarding violations against residents of Afrin, armed members of Al-Sham Legion, which is affiliated to the Intelligence, brutally beat two brothers from Basofan village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside, after preventing them from shepherding in agricultural fields of the residents.
