De-escalation zone | Factions and regime forces trade fire on Jabal Al-Zawyiah and Jabal Al-Akrad frontlines

SOHR activists in the de-escalation zone in the southern countryside of Idlib have reported seeing frequent flights by Russian reconnaissance aircraft over Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib, while regime forces have shelled areas in Fulayfel, Bayannin, Safohn and Al-Fatirah in Jabal Al-Zawiyah.

Moreover, Al-Fatah Al-Mubin operations room factions have shelled positions of the regime forces in Al-Dar Al-Kabeer village, south of Idlib

Meanwhile, regime forces and factions have traded fire on Kabbana frontline in Jabal Al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia. However, no casualties have been reported.

On May 20, SOHR activists documented the death of two regime soldiers and the injury of others, as a fighter of a jihadist group blew himself up after he had sneaked into a frontline in Jabal Al-Akrad in north Latakia countryside.
