Turkish drones | Five Bayraktar drones fly over areas from western Aleppo countryside to Idlib, “Olive Branch” and Euphrates Shield areas
SOHR activists have reported seeing five Turkish Bayraktar drones flying over the western countryside of Aleppo, passing through Idlib and reaching the areas of the “Olive Branch and Euphrates Shield,” which are under the control of Turkish forces and “National Army” factions.
This development comes in light of the Turkish president’s talks about conducting military operations targeting areas controlled by SDF in northern Syria under the pretext of establishing a “safe zone.”
Earlier today, SOHR activists monitored the arrival of a military convoy of dozens of armoured vehicles of Russian forces at their base in Ain Issa district, the “capital of Autonomous-Administration” north of Al-Raqqah.
According to Syrian Observatory sources, Russian forces started to erect soil barriers on the opposite side of a Turkish base located in Sayda town, north of Ain Issa. The reasons behind this development remained unknown.
