Old ordnance | Landmine explosion kills girl in Hama

Hama province: SOHR activists have docuemtned the death of a 4 year-old girl, due to the explosion of an old landmine in Al-Qastal vilage in eastern Hama countryside.

Accordingly, SOHR has documented the death of 108 civilians, including five women and 44 children, due to explosions of landmines and unexploded shells and bombs across Syria since early 2022. In addition, 122 civilians, including nine women and 73 children, sustained various injuries in the same period, in addition to a man and his son under the rubbles of a building in Dariyah in Rif Dimashq and four men under a collapsing building in Jobar neighbourhood.
