After withdrawal of Turkish machineries | Tadif city protestors end sit-in after 12 days

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that residents of Tadif city ended their sit-in after 12 consecutive days, after they got promises from Turkish forces to stop digging the trench before finding a solution that guarantees the residents’ rights to return to their homes, controlled by regime forces.

These events followed a closed meeting between Turkish officials and tribes’ dignitaries from Tadif city.

Accordingly, Turkish forces withdrew all equipment from Al-Batoshiyah village on the outskirts of Tadif city, and stopped digging the trench until further notice.

It is worth noting that the sit-in was organized by residents of Tadif city, against the digging of the trench in the vicinity of Tadif city in Al-Bab city eastern of Aleppo.

On May 20, SOHR sources reported that the residents of Tadif city continued their peaceful sit-in protest for the seventh consecutive day, opposing the digging of a trench by Turkish forces, separating areas under the control of Turkish-backed factions from regime-controlled areas in Tadif city in Al-Bab countryside in eastern Aleppo.
