“Turkey’s safe zone” | National army members continue their violations against civilians in Aleppo countryside

SOHR activists have reported that a civilian from Al-Amiyah village in Al-Bab city, who owns a motorcycle repair shop, has been severely beaten with a metal object by a member of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah” faction as the civilian demand “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah” member to give him his money, causing a head injury.

Furthermore, members of Anti-Narcotics branch in Azaz city have arrested a displaced man from Sahl Al-Ghab in Hama countryside and stole his car and sold it. The man has been arrested on charges of
drug smuggling, even though the man was not carrying any narcotics.

The patrol’ members have also beaten him severely after his family refused to pay 3000 Turkish liras for his release.

On May 24, SOHR activists reported that on Monday, May 23, members of Ahrar Al-Sharqiyyah faction arrested a young man in Al-Bab city centre, east of Aleppo, after he crossed Al-Bab city via routes used for smuggling from areas controlled by the Syrian regime in Aleppo city, SOHR activists reported.

On April 20, a military police patrol arrested a young man from Azaz city for “Affecting public morals and misusing social media.” The members of military police took the arrested man to their security headquarters in Azaz city.
