Hectic movements | Russian and Coalition aircraft fly over area from Ain Issa in northern Al-Raqqah to Syria-Turkey border in Ain Al-Arab countryside (Kobani)

SOHR activists have reported frequent flights by Russian and Coalition helicopters, fighter jets and drones in the airspace of the northern and north-western countryside of Al-Hasakah since early hours of Friday morning.

According to Observatory sources, two Russian helicopters have been flying Al-Qamishli, Amuda, Al-Darbasiyyah on the Syria-Turkey border and Abu Rasin (Zarkan) in the north-western countryside of Al-Hasakah since 06:00 am.

On the other hand, US drones and helicopters have flown over Qasrak base in the east of Tel Tamr in north-western Al-Hasakah, heading to areas in the south of Al-Darbasiyyah and the east of Abu Rasin.

Also, six Russian helicopters flew over the border strip between Syria and Turkey in Ain Al-Arab countryside (Kobani), east of Aleppo.

This coincides with a propaganda by Turkish media outlets about imminent incursion into SDF-held areas in north Syria region by Turkish forces and their proxy factions.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning that Turkish forces and their proxy factions fired several rockets on positions where Kurdish forces are deployed in the northern countryside of Aleppo. The rockets hit positions in Samouqah, Hasajik and Sadd Al-Shahbaa. However, no casualties were reported.
