Intensive reporting campaigns and attempts to hack into SOHR official website and Facebook page by individuals affiliating with Erdogan, Iranian-backed militias and Lebanese Hezbollah

As the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) continues to uncover and disclose violations committed throughout Syria, which mainly affect Syrian people, SOHR official website and other pages and accounts on social media have been subjected to large-scale media smear campaigns through reporting SOHR accounts and attempts to hack into these accounts and the official website. These campaigns have been led by media outlets and individuals loyal and affiliated with the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Iranian-backed militias and the Lebanese Hezbollah. These campaigns come as SOHR continues to uncover the violations committed in areas controlled by Turkish forces and their proxies in Aleppo, Al-Raqqah and Al-Hasakah, as well as disclosing the file of drug trafficking and smuggling from Syria to neighbouring countries and Gulf states, where these smuggling operations are facilitated and supervised by the Lebanese Hezbollah and Iranian-backed militias.

Despite these intensive media campaigns and reporting, we, at SOHR, confirm that we will never stop disclosing all violations committed against Syria people by all warring parties across the entire Syrian geography. We also reaffirm our continuous and diligent efforts until reaching a state where Syrian people can enjoy justice and democracy and bringing perpetrators and all those who aided and abetted heinous crimes and violations against Syrian people to justice.
