“Putin-Erdogan” area | Regime forces shoot down a drone near frontlines in southern Idlib

Regime forces have shot down a drone that was flying over the southern Idlib countryside near the frontlines separating between factions southern of “Putin-Erdogan” areas.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the drone belonged to Turkish forces and their proxies and executing a reconnaissance operation in the region.

Earlier today, SOHR sources in the “de-escalation zone” reported seeing Russian reconnaissance drones flying over Jabal Al-Zawiyah, Sahl Al-Ghab and Jabal Al-Akrad. Meanwhile, regime ground forces bombarded, in the early hours of Friday morning, positions in Fulayfel, Al-Faterah, Sfuhen in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib and other areas in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama.

On the other hand, the frontlines of Kabana in Jabal Al-Akrad and Al-Mashare’ in Sahl Al-Ghab experienced exchange of heavy and medium machinegun fire between regime forces and opposition factions.
