Amid ground movements | Six Russian helicopters fly over Al-Hasakah countryside near “Peace Spring” areas
Russian helicopters were flying at low altitude over Al-Hasakah countryside near “Peace Spring” areas, which is controlled by Turkish forces and their proxies, for the second time today.
According to reliable SOHR sources, six helicopters took off from Al-Qamishly Airport and headed towards Al-Dirbasiyah on borders with Turkey and towards Abo Rasen (Zarkan) countryside north western of Al-Hasakah, to send reassurance messages to the residents and SDF.
A few hours ago, SOHR sources reported that regime officers escorted by Russian forces and members of SDF Relation Commission conducted inspection tour at regime positions along an area from the Syria-Turkey border in east and west Al-Darbasiyah countryside to the frontlines with “National Army” and Turkish forces in Abu Rasin countryside (Zarkan) in north-western Al-Hasakah. Meanwhile, Russian aircraft flew over the area, providing guarding to the convoy. It is worth noting that such tours by joint patrols of regime, Russian forces and SDF are very rare in that region.
