Night shelling | Turkish and Kurdish forces trade fire in northern Aleppo countryside

SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces stationed at Thulthanah base in Marea city, north of Aleppo, have intensively shelled the villages of Harbel, Al-Sheikh Issa and the outskirts of Tel Rifaat in the northern countryside of Aleppo at midnight.

In response to this attack, Kurdish forces have fired mortar shells on the outskirts of Marea city and the Turkish base in Sandaf village. No further details have been reported yet about the number of casualties and material damage caused by this bombardment.

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the injury of four Turkish-backed “National Army” members, where a thermal guided missile targeted them on Basofan frontline eastern of Afrin.

On the other hand, Turkish forces and their proxies fired heavy weapons on Qantara and Soghanka villages in Shirawa district in the northern Aleppo countryside. However, no casualties were reported.
