Aleppo | Military Police and Al-Moatassim Billah arrest three civilians in Afrin

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that members of a Military Police patrol arrested two civilians from Shiran district in Afrin countryside, while they were retruning to Shiran district from Aleppo city, without knowing the charges pressed against them.

On the same context, members of Al-Luwaa Al-Montasir Billah faction, which controls Korkan Tahtani village in Ma’batly district, arrested a civilian from the village on May 17, for “working for the former Autonomous Administration” during its control over Afrin, beore being released on May 25 after they were forced to pay ransoms.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported that a patrol of the Military Police arrested a civilian from Qarzihil village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside, while he was returning to his village from Aleppo city for unknown charges on May 26.

Meanwhile, on May 26, “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah” faction arrested a man from Kafr Mazzah village in Sharan district in Afrin countryside for “dealing with former Kurdish forces” to collect a ransom. “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah” members took him to their headquarters in Sharan district.
