Joint military exercises | “International Coalition” and SDF forces exercise in largest military base
Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported hearing loud explosions in the vicinity of Al-Omar Oil Field, where the largest International Coalition base is located, as a result of joint exercises between the International Coalition and SDF, using live ammunation and heavy weapons.
On May 15, Strong explosions were heard in eastern and northern Deir Ezzor countryside caused by conducting live-fire exercises by US-led International Coalition forces in Koniko gas field, which is a US military base in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
On May 14, International Coalition forces also conducted artillery and aviation military exercises in the area near Al-Omar field in Dhiban desert in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
