On different charges | Turkish-backed factions arrest woman and man in Afrin

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that members of a Civil Police patrol arrested a woman from Rajo district in Afrin countryside on May 24, for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration” and took her to an unknown destination.

On the same context, members of a joint military checkpoint between the Turkish Intelligence and the Military Police arrested a civilian from Jinderes district in Afrin countryside, while he was heading towards Afrin, without knowing the charges pressed against him.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that members of a Military Police patrol arrested two civilians from Shiran district in Afrin countryside, while they were retruning to Shiran district from Aleppo city, without knowing the charges pressed against them.
On the same context, members of Al-Luwaa Al-Montasir Billah faction, which controls Korkan Tahtani village in Ma’batly district, arrested a civilian from the village on May 17, for “working for the former Autonomous Administration” during its control over Afrin, beore being released on May 25 after they were forced to pay ransoms.
