SOHR | “Reports of Turkish forces removing parts of border wall in Ain Al-Arab countryside untrue”

Very reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that the reports circulating by opposition media outlets and others affiliated with the Turkish government about removing parts of the border wall between Syria and Turkey in Ain Al-Arab countryside (Kobani) in eastern Aleppo are completely untrue.

It is worth noting that the border wall between Turkey and Syria has four gates in Kobani countryside, while posts of the Syrian Border Guards are located opposite all of these gates.

SOHR sources have just reported seeing six Russian helicopters flying over Turkey-Syria border and frontlines between areas controlled by Turkish forces and factions of the “National Army” on one hand, and areas controlled by SDF on the other in the area between Al-Qamishli city and Abu Rasin town running through Amuda and Darbasiyah in Al-Hasakah countryside.

Moreover, Russian helicopters flew over the villages of Harbil, Tel Qarah and Umm Al-Hosh and along the frontlines near Marea’ and Al-Bab cities in Aleppo countryside.
