Aleppo | Regime and Iranian-backed militias bring in military reinforcements to frontlines with Turkish forces and “National Army”

SOHR activists have reported the arrival of military reinforcements of regime and Iranian-backed militias to the villages and towns of Al-Ziyarah, Deir Jamal, Kharibkah, Abyan, Maranaz and Mengh military airport, where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed, north of Aleppo. The reinforcements include rocket launchers, heavy artillery and armoured personnel carriers and buses.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, reinforcements have been deployed along the frontlines with Turkish forces and “National Army” factions in northern Aleppo countryside and Shirawa district in Afrin countryside.

SOHR sources have just reported that Turkish forces stationed on the outskirts of Marea city in northern Aleppo fired two artillery shells on the surrounding areas of a Russian post in Al-Wahshiyyah village in the northern countryside of Alepo. However, no casualties have been reported so far.

Earlier this morning, SOHR sources reported seeing six Russian helicopters flying over Turkey-Syria border and frontlines between areas controlled by Turkish forces and factions of the “National Army” on one hand, and areas controlled by SDF on the other in the area between Al-Qamishli city and Abu Rasin town running through Amuda and Darbasiyah in Al-Hasakah countryside.

Moreover, Russian helicopters flew over the villages of Harbil, Tel Qarah and Umm Al-Hosh and along the frontlines near Marea’ and Al-Bab cities in Aleppo countryside.
