Turkish offensive | Intensive shelling on 13 areas in Tel Tamr countryside and Abu Rasin (Zarkan) in Al-Hasakah triggers mass civilian exodus

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists monitored intensive shelling carried out by Turkish forces since the early hours of Thursday morning on SDF-held areas controlled by SDF, where regime forces are present in the northern countryside of Al-Hasakah.

The intense bombardment has targeted the villages of Al-Abush, Al-Dadrah, Tel Shannan, Qasr Touma Yilda, Tel Jumaa’, Al-Aghibash and Al-Tawila in Tel Tamr countryside in the countryside of Abu Rasin (Zarkan).

Turkish intensive shelling has left at least a civilian injured in Mahramaleh village, and caused material damage.

Meanwhile, Russian helicopters have flown over the airspace of Tel Tamr countryside in the countryside of Abu Rasin (Zarkan).

Furthermore, the area has witnessed a mass exodus of civilians.

Yesterday evening, SOHR activists had reported artillery shelling by Turkish forces on the villages of Umm Al-Kif and Tel Juma Al-Assyria in Tel Tamr countryside, north-west of Al-Hasakah. No casualties were reported.
