New joint patrol | Russian and Turkish forces tour areas on Syria-Turkey border amid Turkish intensive shelling on north-west Al-Hasakah

SOHR activists have reported seeing the conduct of a joint military patrol by Russian and Turkish forces in the western and eastern countryside of Al-Darbasiyah at Syria-Turkey border, while two Russian helicopters fly over the areas.

The joint patrol of eight Turkish and Russian military vehicles has set off from Sherik village and toured the villages of Delik, Salam Alik, Quneitrah, Qurmaniyah, Tel Kadish, Kar Batali, Jadidah, Tel Tirah, Tel Karmah, Khasaki and Mudawarah to the road between Amuda and Al-Darbasiyah in northern Al-Hasakah countryside, then the patrol returned from the same road.

The running of joint patrol coincides with intensive Turkish shelling of the villages and towns in Tel Tamr and Abu Rasin (Zarkan) countryside in Al-Hasakah province.

SOHR activists have just reported intensive shelling carried out by Turkish forces on SDF-held areas controlled by SDF, where regime forces are present in the northern countryside of Al-Hasakah since the early hours of Thursday morning.

The intense bombardment has targeted the villages of Al-Abush, Al-Dadrah, Tel Shannan, Qasr Touma Yilda, Tel Jumaa’, Al-Aghibash and Al-Tawila in Tel Tamr countryside in the countryside of Abu Rasin (Zarkan).

Turkish intensive shelling has left at least a civilian injured in Mahramaleh village, and caused material damage.

Meanwhile, Russian helicopters have flown over the airspace of Tel Tamr countryside in the countryside of Abu Rasin (Zarkan).

Furthermore, the area has witnessed a mass exodus of civilians.
