Aleppo | Six Russian helicopters fly over areas hosting Kurdish and regime forces

SOHR activists have reported seeing six Russian helicopters flying over the areas where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed in areas in Maa’rata Al-Hadath, Fafin and other areas, reaching Al-Sheikh Najjar and Muslamyah areas and finally towards Kwiris military airport in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

A few hours earlier, SOHR sources reported that “Manbij Military Council” forces operating under the banner of SDF have foiled an infiltration attempt by Turkish-backed ”National Army” affiliated groups in Al-Mohsenli village in the northern countryside of Manbij, east of Aleppo.

According to SOHR activists, violent clashes broke out between Turkish-backed “National Army” affiliated groups and “Manbij Military Council” forces operating under the banner of SDF.

The “Manbij Military Council” forces waged a counter-attack on a military base of Turkish forces in Halunji village, north of Manbij, amid an exchange of rocket fires between the two parties. No further details were reported about the number of casualties and material damage.
