Turkish media circulating news of military operation | Russian reinforcements enter “Al-Sae’diyah” base in Manbij

SOHR activists have reported that Russian forces brought military reinforcements to military base known as Al-Sae’diyah in Manbij countryside, north eastern of Aleppo.

This comes in light of the Russian military escalation in north eastern of Syria for a few days, coinciding with media escalation by Turkish side and the Turkish president’s (Recep Tayyip Erdogan) media about launching a Turkish military operation on the area.

SOHR activists reported that three helicopters were flying at a low altitude since early hours of Friday morning over the border strip between Syria and Turkey and several villages and towns in Amuda and Al-Darbasiyah countryside and Abu Rasin (Zarkan) in the north-western countryside of Al-Hasakah. It is worth noting that the Russian helicopters took off from Al-Qamishli airport.

This came as a part of ongoing flights by Russian helicopters on border areas and frontlines separating areas controlled by Kurdish and regime forces and Syria Democratic Forces from areas controlled by Turkish forces and factions of the “National Army” in the area from the northern and north-western countryside of Al-Hasakah to the northern and north-eastern countryside of Aleppo.
