29-day stifling blockade on Al-Rukban camp | Displaced people from Al-Qaryatayin village in Homs countryside form delegation to negotiate with regime

Russians, regime, and Iranians block entry of food and medical supplies for "Al-Rukban" camp at Syria-Iraq-Jordan border

For the 29th consecutive day, regime forces, Iranian-backed militias and Russian forces continue their suffocating siege on Al-Rukban camp in the Syrian desert at Syria-Iraq-Jordan border triangle.

In light of the stifling blockade imposed on Al-Rukban camp, the dramatic rise in commodity prices, the unavailability of medicines in the camp and the lack of essentials, Displaced people from Al-Qaryatain city, eastern countryside of Homs and, who live in Al-Rukban camp, have formed a delegation of five persons to negotiating with regime and securing the return of displaced people to their city.

This comes in light of dire living conditions in the camp, which has been turned the camp, which hosts nearly 8,500 displaced Syrian people from various provinces, into a “large prison” in the Syrian desert.
