After targeting houses and public facilities | Most residents displace from Abu Rasin (Zarkan) in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have monitored the displacement of most residents of Abu Rasin (Zarkan) town, following the intensified shelling on wide areas of the town, where Turkish forces and their proxies fired artillery shells and rocket launchers on the area.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the residents of villages in Abu Rasin (Zarkan) town displaced to safer areas, after vital facilities, schools and houses were directly targeted. However, few residents still hide in the area waiting to harvest their crops.

SOHR activists reported that almost 85% of the residents displaced from the area.

Earlier today, Turkish forces and their proxy factions of various “National Army” formations conducted military exercises in Ras Al-Ain/ Sere Kanye area, north-west of Al-Hasakah province on the Turkey-Syria border.

This coincided with the propaganda by Turkish media outlets about imminent military operation and incursion into areas of north-eastern Syria.

This morning, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces stationed in “Peace Spring” area fired artillery and rocket shells on Umm Al-Kif village in Tel Tamr countryside, Tel Tamr power station and the two villages of Dardar and Ghabesh, north-west of Al-Hasakah since the early hours of Saturday morning , causing injury to six regime soldiers, who had been treated by Russian forces, and Tel Tamr station to go out of service and power cuts to Tel Tamr and its countryside.

Turkish shelling coincides with the flight by Russian helicopters over the area.
