A week after bringing military reinforcements | Regime forces and Iranian-backed militias bring in new reinforcements to Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have monitored arrival of military reinforcements of regime forces and Iranian-backed militias in northern Aleppo countryside.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the military reinforcements were sent from Nobl and Al-Zahraa towns and headed towards Tel Refaat city in northern Aleppo countryside, and the Military Mangh Airport in areas held by Kurdish and regime forces.

The reinforcements comprise tanks, personnel carriers, artillery, rocket launchers and dozens of internal transportation busses that transport members of Iranian-backed militias and regime forces.

This comes less than a week after the arrival of military reinforcements to the area.

On May 30, SOHR activists reported the arrival of military reinforcements of regime and Iranian-backed militias to the villages and towns of Al-Ziyarah, Deir Jamal, Kharibkah, Abyan, Maranaz and Mengh military airport, where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed, north of Aleppo. The reinforcements included rocket launchers, heavy artillery and armoured personnel carriers and buses.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, reinforcements deployed along the frontlines with Turkish forces and “National Army” factions in northern Aleppo countryside and Shirawa district in Afrin countryside.

SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces stationed on the outskirts of Marea city in northern Aleppo fired two artillery shells on the surrounding areas of a Russian post in Al-Wahshiyyah village in the northern countryside of Alepo. However, no casualties were reported.
