Ongoing tribal clashes | Civilians, including women, injured in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have documented the injury of several civilians including women, in ongoing tribal clashes in Al-Sabha town eastern of Deir Ezzor, where clashes with machineguns erupted between gunmen of Al-Moshahda tribe and Al-Bakir Al-Okaidat tribe, amid appeals by civilians to calm the situation and stop clashes.

Earlier today, violent clashes and street wars erupted between tribesmen of Al-Mushahda and Al-Kubaysah in Al-Sabhah town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, SOHR sources reported.

The ongoing clashes led to the blockage of the main road in Al-Sabhah town, and the closure of shops, amid appeals by the people for the intervention of the security forces to put an end to the fighting. However, the causes of fighting remained unknown.
