Military escalation | Turkish ground shelling hits village in Al-Raqqa injuring civilians

Al-Raqqa province: SOHR activists have documented the injury of three civilians, due to shelling by Turkish forces with heavy weaponry on Abo Naitola village in Ain Issa countryside northern of Al-Raqqa, where they were transported to Jalabiyah hospital while the village is still under intermittent ground shelling.

Yesterday, SOHR activists monitored entry of regime convoy carrying military reinforcements to Ain Issa district in northern Al-Raqqah countryside.
The reinforcements comprised tanks, an artillery, heavy weapons and dozens of soldiers.
This coincided with the propaganda by Turkish media outlets about imminent military operation and incursion into areas of north-eastern Syria.
