Military escalation | Turkish forces and their proxies shell populated village in Manbij

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces and their proxies in positions in Al-Sokariyah Al-Kabira, have shelled areas held by the Military Manbij Council, where artillery shells hit Al-Hamra residential village in Manbij countryside eastern of Aleppo. However, no casualties have been reported yet.
On June 3, SOHR activists reported that Russian forces brought military reinforcements to military base known as Al-Sae’diyah in Manbij countryside, north eastern of Aleppo.

This came in light of the Russian military escalation in north eastern of Syria for a few days, coinciding with media escalation by Turkish side and the Turkish president’s (Recep Tayyip Erdogan) media about launching a Turkish military operation on the area.
