Under supervision of police chief | Military security and police patrols raid headquarters of National Defence commander

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that patrols of the Military Security and the police, under supervision of the governorate police chief in Deir Ezzor, stormed the headquarters of “Foras Al-Iraqiyah”, the National Defence commander.

The patrol confiscated two trucks near the Euphrates River bank towards the city for “operating without license.”

It is worth noting that disputes erupted a few days ago between the National Defence forces, that led to the defection of several members and they joined the 4th Division that is led by “H.G.” in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, which is supported by the Secretary-General of Al-Ba’ath Party in Deir Ezzor.

On June 2, SOHR sources reported that tribal tension in Al-Hari village near Al-Bokamal village on Iraq border in Deir Ezzor countryside continues for the second consecutive day between Al-Hassoun tribesmen who are affiliated with regime “Military security” and Al-Jaghayfah tribe which is close to Iraqi “Popular Mobilization Forces.”

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the tension between the two tribes has developed into armed clashes, leaving at least a tribesman killed and a number of people injured.
