Amid Turkish shelling on villages in east Aleppo | Two jets fly over region adjacent to Turkish-held areas

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that two Russian warplanes were flying over Aleppo and Al-Raqqa countryside adjacent to “Euphrates Shield” and “Peace Spring” areas, and fired Air-to-Air missiles in Tel Abyad northern of Al-Raqqa. However, no damages were reported.

The Russian flight came in light of the shelling by Turkish forces and their proxies, where they fired heavy artillery shells on Al-Jat, Al-Boghaz, Al-Kawkly, Korhaik, Mazarae’ Al-Fawares and Jabal Hamra villages in Manbij countryside, injuring a taxi driver who was working in the frontlines of Manbij countryside.

A few hours ago, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxies fired artillery shells on Al-Jat village north eastern of Manbij in the eastern Aleppo countryside, coinciding with exchanged shelling between Turkish-backed factions and forces that belong to SDF on the outskirts of Al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo countryside. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported that clashes erupted in the early hours of Monday morning between “National Army” factions and military forces operating in the area on the frontlines of Al-Kawkali and Al-Sajour villages, west of Manbij.

National Army” factions and military forces operating in the area also traded rocket and artillery shelling, targeting the villages and towns of Arimah, Qart, Wiran, Al-Kawakli, Al-Fawares farms and Al-Bughaz with nearly 50 rocket and artillery shells. However, no casualties have been reported.
