New murder | Woman kills little girl and dumps her body in abandoned house in Al-Shaikh Maksod

SOHR activists have monitored a new murder in Kurdish-held areas in Aleppo, where the body of a four years-old girl was found dumped inside an abandoned house in Shaikh Al-Maksod neighbourhood in Aleppo.

According to reliable SOHR sources, a woman kidnapped the little girl from her family’s house after her mother exited the house, killed and dumped her inside an abandoned house, where “Al-Asayesh” managed to arrest the criminal who confessed to killing the girl. Meanwhile the investigations are still ongoing.

On the same context, the girl’s parents demanded justice to be served and threatened “Al-Asayesh” to escalate the situation if their demands weren’t met.

This comes in light of the increasing crime rate in most Syrian areas.

On May 31, SOHR activists reported that a 12-year-old girl displaced from Palmyra city in eastern Homs countryside was raped by a person in Al-Bab city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

A large number of gunmen from Palmyra city were deployed in front of the “military police” headquarters, threatening to escalate the situation, unless the criminal was held accountable.

According to Syrian Observatory activists, a restaurateur in Al-Bab city lured the little girl to an abandoned building near his restaurant and raped her on May 25. The man was caught in a flagrante delicto. However, influential figures attempted to circulate false information, after receiving money, to change the facts and acquit the criminal, as they claimed that the little girl had been caught by the owner of the restaurant for robbery.
