IED blast | Military vehicle hit by IED in Afrin city, north-west of Aleppo

SOHR activists have reported that a member of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah” faction has been seriously injured by the explosion of an IED planted in his car near an industrial secondary school in Al-Mahmudiyah district in Afrin city, north-west of Aleppo, which is controlled by Turkish forces and “National Army” factions. This IED explosion caused material damage to the vicinity of the site of the explosion.

Yesterday, a medium explosion has been heard in Azaz border city with Turkey, north of Aleppo caused by the explosion of an IED in the car of a military commander of “Asifat Al-Shamal” faction in Al-Asiyanah neighbourhood, injuring the commander and two children.

 

On May 28, SOHR sources reported hearing an explosion in Afrin city which is under the control of Turkish forces and factions of the “National Army.”

The explosion was caused by the explosion of a booby-trapped motorcycle parking near headquarters of Turkish forces on the road to Jendires near Faysal Qaddour school in Afrin, which injured two persons, including a police man, according to SOHR initial reports.
