Arbitrary arrests | Military Police and Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah arrest two civilians in Afrin
Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that members of a Military Police patrol arrested a civilian displaced from Damascus yesterday, after searching his house in Afrin northern of Aleppo, and accusing him of “inciting against the Turkish electricity company” as he demanded the “Grievances Committee” to interfere for the civilians. Meanwhile the police members accused him of “inciting and calling people to burn offices of the Turkish company.”
On the other hand, members of Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah faction arrested a civilian in Afrin for “belonging to Kurdish forces” and he was handed to the Military Police in Afrin.
It is worth noting that the civilian is from Kakhira village in Ma’batly district and lives in Afrin.
Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that members of Al-Hamza Division patrol arrested three civilians from kafrdily Tahtany village in Afrin countryside for “doing compulsory service during the control of the Autonomous Administration over Afrin”, to collect ransoms.
